RIDE OF A MOUNTAIN GODDESS

by The Guide

There came a warrior goddess mighty
to granite peaks in all their splendor
With fearless resolve and passion's flower,
to meld her time with ancient ghosts.

Through loving caress and four-wheeled power,
she climbed the heavenly stairway found
In search of deeper meaning and then,
a way to be with all that is.

Her life became a part of this,
the highest of all expressions holy
So nature's bounty, though rarely found,
will not be lonely when loving spirits grow.

And when one comes to join their band,
the gods rejoice with choruses of thunder
To shower tender mists on those who come
in harmony to find their loving bonds.

And so it was this special day,
when spitting seeds were found to fly.
A child's unconquerable spirit was made
more whole than before, and heaven smiled.

As mountain passes conquered fear
and dragons slain were left behind,
The leaves of trees were seen to glisten,
with sights and smells and sounds to find.

I wondered at this awesome sight
while guiding her glorious destiny,
And thanked those gods I knew I could,
for letting me share a spirit so bold.
